Birds and Us

Stamp from Ukraine

We may not recognize it but we celebrate birds everyday in our daily lives. You can see birds on postage stamps, coins, cereal boxes, automobile names, aircraft, ships, place names, street names, greeting cards, and plants. There are all kinds of books, fact and fiction, about birds, as well as movies, TV shows, and music that involves birds in some ways. They are intertwined in our daily lives in many ways although we often don't recognize it. See Ornithology.com/celebration.
